The National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority and Al Jaber Leasing Services sign an agreement for the logistical support in the UAE
Abu Dhabi – May 01, 2012 — The National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority “NCEMA” and Al Jaber Leasing Services “ALES”, a subsidiary of Al Jaber Group have signed an agreement to cooperate in the field of logistical support, where Al Jaber will provide logistical support services for all the UAE’s emirates in accordance with the processes and systems set by the agreement.
This agreement is dedicated to logistical support in the UAE; it emphasizes the cooperation between NCEMA and the private sector as a part of its strategic plans. The agreement was signed by H.E. Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, the General Manager of NCEMA and H.E. Obeid Khalifa Jaber Al Murri, Chairman of Al Jaber Group.
Al Rumaithi commented, “The choice of Al Jaber Group to provide the logistical support for the UAE emirates in emergency situations and crises is a noble decision, and it is a great source for our requirements and needs in crisis management situations and in line with highest quality standards”.
He added: “The authority is working hard to develop its strategic plans to handle all emergencies and crises through the provision of all means for the success of emergency response teams, in cooperation with the private sector which has the material, equipments, heavy machines and transportation facilities.
H.E. Obeid Khalifa Jaber Al Murri, chairman of Al Jaber Group said “we are pleased to sign this agreement and to work closely with NCEMA. It allows us to cooperate with the UAE Government to achieve their goals. Our experience, facilities, and services qualified us to meet the requirements of the National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority”..
The agreement was attended by H.E. Shahwan AL Zahery, the Deputy General Manager of NCEMA, in addition to the authority and Al Jaber Group senior managers.
