Al Jaber Lighting Launches Easy LED Oy Products


Abu Dhabi – April 9 – 2013 – Al Jaber Lighting launched Easy LED Oy products to the region following the signing of an exclusive distributorship agreement. The Finnish based manufacturer, Easy LED Oy’s lighting solutions were presented to an influential and diverse audience during a launch ceremony at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr. Al Jaber Lighting, a Company of Al Jaber Group, has a core competence in providing dependable and sustainable lighting solutions to the UAE and GCC markets. The exclusive agreement with Easy LED Oy was agreed in December 2012 and further strengthens Al Jaber Lighting’s offering.

The presentation of sustainable LED product solutions attracted participants from various government entities, facility managers, consultants, developers, lighting designers, major contractors, and key decision makers in the UAE and GCC with the Honorable Finnish Ambassador of the UAE.

The audience was addressed by expert presenters from Finland including Mr. Ilkka Kartio, Managing Director Easy LED Oy, on Introduction to Easy LED Oy, followed by Mr. Antti Rantakallio on Benefits of Easy LED Street Lighting Solution, then Mr. Michael Rodosthenous, Middle East Director of Easy LED OY who highlighted the entire product range, and Mr. Janne Makila, Development Manager of Easy LED Electronic Driver Division, who explained the Advance Patented LED Driver Technology.

The audience was also addressed by Mr. Joerg Schmidt, Marketing Manager of Osram Opto Semiconductors based in Germany and Mr. Johan Bischoff, Key Account Manager of Osram based in Finland. Osram are the key partner providing the LED chips for all Easy LED product ranges. A new LED case study application for aquarium lighting, as installed in Dubai’s Atlantis hotel and most other major aquariums in the world, was presented by Mrs. Akillina Olkkola, Bioptic Light Engineer.

Great interaction followed the presentations with interesting Q&A sessions followed by the displays/exhibits session resulting, by popular demand, with several road shows held on subsequent days, and the initiation of several projects.
