Al Jaber Group's Operations Department achieves triple certifications


The Operations Division of Al Jaber Group has been accredited to the three world-leading certifications in quality, environment and occupational health and safety management. The Division is in charge of the logistics, maintenance and construction equipment rental

Abu Dhabi, Saturday, January 05 – 2008 — Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Certificates awarded Al Jaber (Operations) with the ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999 certifications.


The three certificates are for the ‘logistics’ and ‘maintenance management of equipment, machinery and vehicles’ and ‘materials for the transport and construction industries’ by Al Jaber (Operations). One of only a handful of companies in the region to hold all three certifications, this is a new milestone that cements Al Jaber reputation as a leader in the market.

DNV conducted elaborate supervision at the office premises, workshops and sites of Al Jaber (Operations) to assess the company’s conformance to international management standards. Mr. Torger Baardseth of DNV presented the certificates to Mr Saher Hamd, Managing Director – Operations of Al Jaber Group.
