Al Jaber Group diversifies into high-end private aviation business
Al Jaber Group, an Abu Dhabi-based multi-faceted business entity, has diversified into the rapidly growing private aviation business with the launch of a specialized aviation division.
Abu Dhabi, Saturday, November 10 – 2007 at 12:58 — The new division will serve the high-end market for private jet services and have an advanced aircraft fleet manned by industry veterans.
Mr Obeid Al Jaber, Chairman of Al Jaber Group, said: ‘Private aviation is one of the fastest growing sectors in the region, deriving synergies from the overall economic growth. Our diversification into aviation will initially focus on the private jet business with a strong emphasis on VIP clients.’
‘Our key differentiators will be the modern fleet of aircraft that we operate and the superb level of service to be guaranteed through world-class professionals. We are completing negotiations for procuring the aircraft and already have on board several professionals to steer the Group’s ambitious expansion plans.’
Al Jaber’s aviation business will be a perfect complement to the growth recorded by the private jet sector in the UAE. Industry research estimates that the private jet fleet in the GCC region is poised to grow by 20% in less than a year.
Mohamed Al Jaber, CEO of Al Jaber Group, said: ‘This growth is unprecedented and sets a new trend in the private aviation business. Though the impressive economic growth is the prime rider for this boom in the sector, the current robustness can be maintained only through a professional approach to business. Al Jaber’s objective is to create new benchmarks in private aviation – regionally and globally.’
Al Jaber’s private aviation services will meet the demanding requirements of dignitaries, VIPs and top business executives through an array of personalised services. ‘Luxury will be the watchword of our private jets, with all amenities such as wi-fi connectivity, telephones, personal attendants and a delectable food & beverage spread on offer,’ added Mohamed.
Al Jaber will soon unveil the corporate identity of its aviation division, and reveal the global partnerships it is negotiating to create a new benchmark in the region in private aviation.
